The System

The game is the skin.
This is the engine.

Underneath the map runs real periodisation — the same science serious lifters pay a premium for, extended to the whole hybrid athlete. Nothing here is decoration.

Mesocycle

The Campaign

Training runs in four-to-six week campaigns. Volume climbs each week, effort sharpens, and the block ends in The Rest — a deliberate deload where the adaptation you earned actually lands. You don't grind forever. You campaign, then you rest.

Reps in reserve

The Reserve

Every set names how many reps you keep in the tank. Week one you hold three in reserve; by the last week you're spending nearly all of it. Progress is a planned surrender of reserve — not random maximal effort that buries you by Thursday.

Auto-regulation

The Oracle

After each region you report the signs — pump, workload, joint pain, soreness. The Oracle reads them and sets next week's volume: adds work when you can take it, holds when you can't, and pulls you back before an injury does it for you.

Volume landmarks

The Ladder

Each region has a Foundation (the least that still builds), a Standard (where most growth lives), and a Limit (more than you can recover from). The Oracle walks you up the ladder — and never past the Limit.

Read the signs

Answer as if you'd just finished chest at the Forge. Watch next week rewrite itself.

Campaign · Week 2 of 5
The Pump
How much of a pump did you get in your chest?
The Workload
How hard was the work you did for it?
The Joints
How did your joints feel through the lift?
The Engine · hybrid only
How much running and conditioning this week?

This is the real algorithm, simplified — the same logic that runs your quests.
What the serious apps do

The best hypertrophy apps auto-regulate volume beautifully — for lifting, and only lifting. Run three times a week and the model never knows. It keeps adding sets while your legs are already cooked from the road.

What KouliWorld does
The hybrid edge

We track the engine too. Strength volume and conditioning load sit in one fatigue model, so a heavy running block automatically buys you back recovery in the Forge — instead of quietly stealing it. That's what "one athlete, every discipline" has to mean in the maths.
